The Home Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the Nursing Home.
The Administration staff are happy to help with information on fees, assistance with claiming benefits and legal advice and pocket money allowances.
Our Nursing staff actively promotes the values of privacy, dignity, choice, rights, independence and fulfilment in all aspects of care. Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and provide high standards of care.
Care Assistants aim to care for your every need and deliver personal care to residents under the supervision and guidance of our Nurses. At least 70% of our Care Assistants are qualified to NVQ 2 or above in Health & Social Care above the 50% required standard by CQC.
Domestic staff are here daily making sure the home is clean and tidy. Your clothes and bedding will be washed and ironed for you in the laundry for your convenience.
Our experienced catering staff provides a range of home cooked meals, promoting a variety and choice. Meals can be served in either the dining room or within the residents own rooms should they prefer, although group involvement is encouraged.
Staff at St Georges complete statutory training in Safeguarding Adults, Moving and Handling and Fire Safety, our training programme also includes non-statutory courses such as, Infection Control, Food Hygiene and Dementia awareness.
